Dr. Oren Michaeli is a double board-certified surgeon specializing in complex peripheral nerve reconstruction. He earned his medical degree from Midwestern University and completed his residency at NYU-Long Island, where he is board-certified in General Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.
Dr. Michaeli completed the prestigious Kleinert & Kutz Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Louisville—a program renowned for pioneering hand replants and transplants—earning board certification in Hand Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He further refined his microsurgical expertise at GANGA Hospital in India, one of the world’s highest-volume centers for brachial plexus surgery and limb replantation.
Dr. Michaeli is an active member of the American Society for Peripheral Nerve and the Peripheral Nerve Society, lecturing nationally and internationally on advanced nerve surgery techniques.
